Donovaly - Polianka - Mistríky - Pod Magurou - Donovaly

In the center of Donovaly, right by the Info center, we cross the road via a pedestrian bridge and continue on an asphalt road towards the Baník peak above the slopes in the Záhradište area. On the way, we can admire wonderful views towards the ridge of the Low Tatras, Donovaly, as well as Krížna and Ostredok on the opposite side.

Above the slopes, we reach the Polianka area, where right at the beginning at the crossroads, we turn left following the yellow cycle route. We continue further through the settlement to the end, where we leave the road and descend gently, first through a forest clearing and later through the forest. The path follows a natural wide stream bed up to the forest above the Mistríky settlement.

At Mistríky, we join a local road running through the settlement and continue on the asphalt road past the Chapel of St. Joseph with a gentle climb up to Donovalkovo Children's Town.

The route continues by crossing the main road crossing Donovaly to the lower cable car station to Nová hoľa. Here we can refresh ourselves, for example, at the local Husky Bar with pleasant service, and continue further alongside the restaurant Pod Magorou settlement with the same name. We make a gentle ascent on the asphalt road, which continues crossing the slope from Nová hoľa to the Mišúty area.

Under the cable car to Nová hoľa, we continue back to the center of Donovaly - the place from which we started.
