The start and finish of this extremely scenic and varied 5.34 km route are located directly in front of the Landhotel Yspertal.
This wonderful route is perfect for runners and Nordic walkers alike. Run or walk in moderation, however, as the route has a few climbs.
After a short downhill section at the start, we turn into Geiersteinstraße after 200 m.
We pass the forest pond after just over 1 km.
Just under 1 km later, we circle the picturesque Puschacher Teich.
Switch gears on the undulating passages and uphill sections in the middle section of the route.
Between km 3.5 and km 5 there are some wonderful scenic views.
On the last section, the route climbs slightly back to the start and finish point at the Landhotel Yspertal, which we reach again after exactly 5,340 m.

Take the train to Ybbs, then take the Postbus or a taxi (approx. €38 per trip/up to 8 people) to the Landhotel Yspertal.
Directions
Take the A1 (Westautobahn) to Ybbs/Persenbeug; after crossing the Danube at the Persenbeug power plant, it’s another 15 kilometers through the Yspertal valley to the village of Ysper, where you’ll find the Landhotel Yspertal. Travel time from Vienna: 90 minutes; from Linz: 60 minutes.
