The Outdoor Fitness Trails in the Heidiland holiday region include over 30 uniformly signposted running routes from a total of 10 stations, making it one of the largest outdoor fitness parks in the Alpine region. The Winkelzahn Trail is one of five running routes around the Flumserberg station.
The starting point for this 5.6 km long trail is the Infopoint of the Flumserberg station at the Molseralp restaurant above the valley station to Maschgenkamm (1391 m above sea level). The first few meters lead the Winkelzahn Trail on a narrow hiking path up to the spectacular roundabout of the Floomzer (1494) – the summer toboggan run at Flumserberg. From there, the hiking path turns onto a well-developed alpine road, from which you have a magnificent view of the Churfirsten. The trail leads over open pastureland and a small raised bog across hilly terrain to the Winkelzahn forest clearing (1554). After a few hundred meters, the trail turns left into the forest onto a narrow but well-developed hiking path that leads to the start of the FLOOMZER (1631). This is the highest point of the Winkelzahn Trail. From the start of the FLOOMZER, the trail leads down to the Chrüz (1596) and then – often alongside the FLOOMZER – back to the Molseralp.
