Die Rastplatzhütte steht allen Gästen aus nah und fern zum Verweilen zur Verfügung und bietet Wetterschutz auch an weniger schönen Tagen.
Von der Talstation der Maschgenkammbahnen oder der Sennenstube (Grapparundweg) gelangen Sie in ca. 10 Minuten auf die schön gelegen Waldlichtung. Der Weg ist auch für Kinderwagen geeignet.
Die Grillstelle wird unterhalten von der Heidiland Infostelle Flumserberg.
