Northern jogging route

The start is at the marketplace. You jog up Marktgasse to Bärenplatz, follow Multergasse to Vadianstrasse, past Roten Platz, along Davidstrasse and cross the railway line on St. Leonhardstrasse. Immediately after the bridge, turn left to Kreuzbleiche. You go around this and right after the Militärkantine restaurant, cross Rosenbergstrasse on a bridge. Then follow the bike path immediately to the right to Grünbergtreppe. Now the adventure of going up and down various staircases begins. Up Grünbergtreppe to Höhenweg, east to Schlösslitreppe, down to Rosenbergstrasse, a short distance along it to Telltreppe, up this again to Höhenweg, right along Tigerbergstrasse to Knottergässlein, down this to Blumenbergplatz, follow northeast along Müller-Friedbergstrasse, then up Dohlengässlein (=climate staircase) to Dufourstrasse, below the University of St. Gallen to Dierautreppe, down, along Dieraustrasse to Kollerweg, down this to Böcklinstrasse, then to Magnibergtreppe, under Platztor back to the marketplace.
