The running route begins at the "Schlagbaum", the junction of eight paths. The first marking is opposite on a beech tree on the wide driveway. Always slightly uphill, after about 1.1 km, we turn left, slightly downhill, onto a forest path. We follow this path. After another 700 m, there is a right curve, at the following fork we stay right. At about 2.1 km, the 15 km route (blue marking) comes up from the left and accompanies us for a while. We continue straight ahead and leave it again at a bend to the left at km 4. We keep running downhill and soon reach the lowest point of the route. At km 4.8, there is a short steep uphill at a thick beech tree. At the fork 100 m further, we keep right and stay on this path until at km 7.2 a trail branches off to the left uphill. We then follow this until the end at exactly km 8.8 (approximately 9 km) at the Schlagbaum.

Directions
In Bad Dürkheim, turn at the roundabout near the large barrel towards Leistadt (to the north). After about 1.5 km, turn left towards Annaberg, past the hotel up into the forest. At the top, in the sharp right curve, turn left towards the hiking parking lot. At the back end, the hiking trail begins, which leads right to the "Schlagbaum".
