Marking: entire route number 7 on a white circle
From the edge of the village of Vinningen, the circular route runs over the Mardellen, along fields and meadows with a magnificent view of France, before continuing to the Krappenfels viewing platform and down to the Krappen cave.
From the pizzeria through Pirmasenser Straße to the eastern edge of the village and then right to the Mardellen (valuable biotope). Continuing along farm roads with great views over to France, the path runs along fields and meadows to the transmission mast at the forest edge near Hobelsberg. Now it goes to the south side of Hobelsberg to the viewing platform on the mighty Krappenfels. Here you have a great view of the village of Trulben. A narrow path now leads along the wild romantic scenery of the towering rock face of Krappenfels down to the Krappen cave and further to Trulben. Turning right, the path now goes a short stretch through the village and then up through the forest and past meadows and fields to the southern edge of Vinningen. Here there are again great views to France. The path now leads through the village, past old impressive former agricultural buildings to the starting point of the route.
