Karhorn circular walk

From the hotel, you head straight onto the old salt road to the valley station of the Steffisalp cable car. Ascent with the Steffisalp cable car (included in the Warth Card). From the Steffisalp cable car, we follow a good high-altitude path, gently ascending and descending to Wannenkopf and further to Mutaschüna (hay barn on the Muta). On the toll road, it continues to the old Walser settlement Bürstegg (possibility to stop for refreshments at the alpine hut, the chapel of Bürstegg is a must-see). From Bürstegg, it gently ascends to Karbühel and descends to Auenfeldsattel. Past the lower Auenfeldalp, immediately after the alpine hut, turn right to the upper Auenfelder Alp where the path passes the Auenfeld hut with refreshment options, then gently ascends over the Salobersattel to the Salober valley station and continues past Kuchelalpe below the Simmel chapel and past the Krumbacher peatland with the crooked brook leading back to the starting point.
