Hiking trail no. 13 Ramsen-Eiswoog-Ramsen
A varied hiking route that partly runs along the forest edge, partly through the forest, on narrow paths and gravel tracks, and through the village on streets. There are partly short or longer ascents which can be managed well, as well as downhill sections. Along the path await idyllic small ponds, the Eiswoog, the Stumpfwald railway, numerous wooden sculptures, and of course good places to eat for refreshment.
UFFBASSE! - Campaign for a considerate coexistence in nature
- Always behave considerately, kindly and thoughtfully towards everyone you meet along the way.
- Respect nature, do not destroy plants and always stay on the paths. Try to avoid excessive noise and leave the forest before dusk.
- Take a garbage bag with you for the way and take your waste back home.
- Always keep your dog on a leash. Other visitors and animals will thank you.
- Pay attention to all path closures for your own safety, including on weekends.
- Park only in designated parking spaces. Leave room for rescue vehicles and agricultural machinery.
- Give priority to agricultural and forestry traffic.

Safety information
Especially in autumn, be aware that fallen leaves on the ground can hide unevenness, roots, stones or holes in the path. After thunderstorms or heavy rain, trees can still fall or branches can break off. In adverse weather conditions, natural paths can have muddy and slippery sections. Not all rocks or cliffs are secured with ropes or railings. In places, sure-footedness is required. You should expect such path impairments when going hiking. If you find certain sections impassable, you should bypass them.
NOTE:
We strive to announce all closures caused by forest work or hunting groups on this platform. Nevertheless, there are situations where trails are closed and we may not have been informed. If you unexpectedly encounter a trail closure or detour, please follow the instructions for your own safety.
