On a relatively short route, you can experience two impressive rock formations with the Hohenstein and the Großmördersnack. There are wonderful views across the Middle Rhine Valley into the Taunus and towards the Hunsrück. Detours to the Vogelsnack and the forest classroom are recommended.

The start is at the car park opposite the Ziegenalm. From there, go a few meters uphill and then immediately turn left. After about 200 meters, leave the path onto a small trail leading to the Großmördersnack. Sure-footedness is required to enjoy the beautiful view there.
On the paved path, go right towards Aldegundisstraße. Opposite, a small path begins towards Hohenstein. After a short steep descent, you reach a wide, idyllic path that leads back to the starting point.
