The start is at the parking lot opposite the Ziegenalm. From there, go up a few meters and then immediately turn left. After about 200 meters, leave the path onto a small trail that leads to the Großmördersnack. Surefootedness is required to enjoy the beautiful view there.
After the small detour, stay on the paved path around Trummelskopf and Rindchesberg. There, make a sharp left towards the hunting lodges. After the large meadow, go briefly left and then immediately right towards Ziegenalm, where you can get some information at the forest educational trail or take a rest.
