Circular route - Biebrich (Bi 1) - Multigenerational path
This path is a pleasant route for the whole family!
With an all-terrain stroller or possibly even a handcart, this 3.7 km long route with minimal elevation change is easy to manage. Furthermore, the paths are wide enough that you can comfortably walk side by side and have a good conversation (or explain something about nature to the kids).

Roadbook
The recommended walking direction is clockwise.
From the hiking car park, you walk through the entire village on Lindenstraße with some beautiful half-timbered houses in the lower section. At the end of Lindenstraße by the village fountain, turn right into Schaumburger Straße. At its end, continue straight into the fields – initially with a slight uphill, then downhill to the edge of the forest along the former church path of the Biebrich residents.
Church Path
Many villages in the Taunus were always too small to have their own church.
It was customary on Sundays for the locals to take a several-kilometer-long and still shortest path through the woods, fields, and meadows to attend the service.
Of course, the walk back home was added. The beginning of this round of the
multigenerational path descending to the forest edge is part of the historical approximately 5 km long church path
to Habenscheid, which the people of Biebrich used until 1910. Afterwards, the locals walked to the
new church in Wasenbach; this was only 2.5 km and about a half-hour walk through
the landscape one way.
At the forest edge, turn right and walk slightly downhill into the forest. Then you proceed more or less level over a wide forestry road through the wooded slope. A distinct right curve leads you back to the forest edge. There, follow the path left along the edge of the forest, then uphill through open terrain. Ahead of you, you see an equipment hall, which the path passes by. At a small weather station, turn left, walk along the second gable side of the hall, and continue a few steps to a pasture. There, turn right onto the home stretch with other hiking paths to the outskirts of Biebrich, and the hiking car park is soon reached.
