Wolkenberg Lords' Path

From the parking lot at the Cyprians Chapel (parish and baptismal church of the Wolkenberg lordship), go 100 m south and then turn left at a right angle onto the Oberallgäu circular hiking trail, going under the B12, where you can already see the Lower Courtyard of the castle (=economic yard) at the top of the hill. Following the signposts, proceed uphill along the B12 and the forest to a crossroads where you turn left. Here is the site of the former Upper Courtyard, commemorated by a memorial stone. The complex includes the former brewery and the Wolkenberg ruins on the castle hill. After visiting them, continue left at the foot and later again left under the B12. The first house on the left after that is the Wolkenberg mill, the former castle mill, in front of which you can still see the mill pond to the left up on the terrain. Head northwest through the scattered settlement into the village, where you turn left one last time at the savings bank and return to the starting point at St. Cyprian.
