Walk through the Deidesheim holiday region

The start is at Deidesheim train station. The route follows along the German Wine Route to the edge of the town. After a short section on the bike and footpath towards Forst, turn left onto a paved vineyard path. At the first intersection, it leads to the German Wine Route cycle path (white sign/green grape and bicycle). Turn right here. Follow this path to Forst. It runs parallel to the town. Side paths repeatedly lead into the town. A visit is worthwhile. At the town's end, turn left towards the Palatinate Forest, shortly before that turn left onto the German Wine Route hiking trail (white sign/green grape). Stay on this path until near the Pfalzblick forest guesthouse, then turn left and go through the vineyards to the road to Mußbach. Cross this and continue straight on to Ruppertsberg into the town. Turning left onto Forstgasse, you cross the main road and reach St. Martin's Church. Through Schlossstraße and Von-Dalberg-Straße, you reach the street Im Schlossgarten. Turn right here and then left onto a path leading along a meadow. Sun benches invite you to rest with a view of the Palatinate Forest. Now it goes along Sonneneck Street, past a playground, and through a railway underpass back to Deidesheim station.
