Vils walk

The start of the route is the Märchenspielplatz in Pfronten-Steinach. Here you follow the road and cross the railway tracks. Then you follow the Vils northwards to cross the river after a few meters over a large bridge. The path turns right directly after the bridge onto a gravel path. After a few hundred meters you turn right again onto a forest trail. At the end of the forest trail you cross the Vils again and follow the gravel path back to the starting point.

Alternative start at the dog training ground: If you start at the dog training ground, start directly to the left and follow the footpath along the Vils. Always along the water, you go to the next bridge, which you then cross. On the other side of the river, turn right to start the return part of the route. At the next bridge you cross the Vils again and are back at your starting point.
