From the town square Vils past the parish church into Untertor, over the new Vils bridge, then follow the sign Lände-Alatsee (No. 1) slightly to the right. After about 300 m turn left, pass the “Schartenhof” (large farm), along the asphalt path to the Alatsee junction. There turn right and follow the newly built, ascending hiking trail up to the lakeshore.
