Two-Valley Trail

The tour starts at the Häsel hiking car park towards the Bickelsberg district. On the way towards the cemetery and the entrance to Bickelsberg, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Swabian Alb and Hohenzollern Castle. Follow Vöhringer Straße, which begins at the cemetery, to Gasthaus Lamm. Here, turn left onto Bühlstraße, passing the Jerger company, and then once more turn left into the “Steig”. Follow the paved path to an intersection where you choose the gravel path to the right. This path leads the hiker directly into the forest, which provides shade especially during the summer months. We follow the path in the area called “Löchle” to a place where a meadow path crosses. Turn right onto this. The meadow path in the “Krumbach” area leads the hiker back onto a gravel path, where you must turn left. Following the forest-surrounded path, you reach a large meadow called “Lohrmannswiese”. Simply leave this on your left and follow the path until another path crosses. At this point, simply turn left. You walk across the meadow to the forest edge on the other side. Having arrived there, continue straight on the Brentwasenweg. At the next large intersection, turn diagonally left into the “Witthau” area. Follow this path until you reach another intersection, which you cross and continue straight on. At the next fork, turn left into the “Riedwiese” area and then again left into the “Lower Schöber” area. The Häselweg accompanies the hiker to the hiking car park in the forest. From there, you reach near the starting point again via the next intersection. Here, turn left towards the nature reserve or bird protection area. Soon you will reach the Häsel hiking car park again.
