Train path Täsch - Zermatt

The railway trail is an easy and varied path for the whole family. In addition to the railway carriages of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn, you can also observe marmots. Flower lovers will get their money's worth due to the numerous alpine flowers, including very rare specimens. Shortly before 9 a.m. and shortly after 5 p.m., you can marvel at the panorama cars of the Glacier Express. And last but not least, at the entrance to the village of Zermatt, you can watch the helicopters of Air Zermatt take off and land at high speed.
The trail leads steadily and gently uphill through areas with and without forest, over hill and dale, meadows and pastures. It offers a fireplace with picnic area and resting benches at the Air Zermatt heliport.
