Above Ums rises the Völsegg-Spitz. Actually not a spectacular summit, since the Hammerwand and of course the Schlern dominate. But when we stand at the summit cross, we know the steep and strenuous ascent was worth it. This exposed limestone dome offers a wonderful view over the Bolzano basin and the South Tyrolean mountain world.

The Tschafon meadows invite you to have an extensive rest. The larch meadow lies beautifully quiet. The peaks of the Rosengarten massif repeatedly shine through the treetops.
