Passing the National Park information point Hintersee, we walk a short stretch on the paved road before turning right.
A continuously ascending path leads us through the forest up to Halsalm. From the alpine hut, the path continues on a narrow trail across the alpine meadow, where we are treated to a magnificent view over Hintersee and the Ramsau valley. We then continue hiking towards Ramsau and finally reach our starting point again by following a footpath alongside the road. If we're very lucky, we might even spot a golden eagle during our route, so keep your eyes open!
