If you’d like to take a break, you can plan a detour to the Gafadura Hut. Without this detour, the route branches off from Gafadura Road onto a narrower hiking trail and continues uphill to the Saroja Pass.
From the Saroja Pass, the hike becomes significantly more challenging. You’ll ascend to the Drei Schwestern via a T4 hiking trail. This alpine section requires sure-footedness and a head for heights. In two places, ladders lead over steep sections.
At the summit, you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking panorama. On one side, the view stretches across the Rhine Valley all the way to Lake Constance; on the other side, the Liechtenstein mountains unfold before you.
The descent leads past the Garsellaalpe back to the Saroja Pass. From there, you’ll hike back to Planken along the route you’ve already taken.
