The hiking trail is an alternative route to the Lusatian Snake between the municipality of Wachau and the town of Radeberg, essentially a route variant with a cultural background. It connects Radeberg's Klippenstein Castle, the Baroque castle in Wachau, and Seifersdorf Castle near the Seifersdorf Valley. The path is consistently marked with a red dot.

From Klippenstein Castle, follow the marking northwards, past the city hospital. After crossing the S 95, the hiking trail leads to Friedrichtstal, a small district of Radeberg. Soon after, you reach the Landwehr, a roughly 300-hectare forest area between Radeberg and Wachau. After passing through the forest, you reach the small Landwehr pond, where benches invite you to rest. Via the side path and the main road, you arrive at Wachau Castle and its park. The park, heavily damaged by a tornado in 2010, has been restored since 2018 based on its historical design. From here, it is only a short section to Seifersdorf Castle, the destination of the hiking trail. If you do not want to hike back the same way to Radeberg, it is recommended to take the hiking trail "Lusatian Snake," which leads through the romantic Seifersdorf Valley and the Radeberg district of Liegau-Augustusbad.
