Circular hike to the Salegg and Hauenstein ruins
The Oswald von Wolkenstein Path is a recommended route for young and old. Along the path, 15 panels are mounted. The focus is on the Minnesinger Oswald von Wolkenstein, who resided at Hauenstein ruin. The panels vividly illustrate the knightly life of that time and encourage participation.
The path takes us through the cool pine and spruce forest below the Schlern massif. Time and again, views open up of the landscape around Seis, the Ritten plateau, and the Sarntal Alps.
