From Innsbruck: Take the Brenner motorway A22 to Brixen. Exit at Vahrn/Pustertal motorway junction. Via the Pustertal road SS 49 to St. Lorenzen and the SP 244 (Gadertal) to La Villa/Stern and further to Kolfuschg/Calfosch.
From Bolzano: Via the Eisack valley SS 12 to Waidbruck and through Grödnertal, SS 242, to St. Ulrich. Continue via Wolkenstein to Grödner Joch/Ju de Frara, SS 243, and further to Kolfuschg/Calfosch.
Return to the car: by public bus from Grödner Joch/Ju de Frara to Kolfuschg/Calfosch.
