Stoißeralm

Route: Starting point is the Adlgaß hiking parking lot or the Dorflinien bus stop Adlgaß. From the parking lot, the circular route initially ascends gently; at the fork, keep right (No. 29) and follow the wide forest road towards Bäckeralm (about 1 hour). Passing babbling mountain streams and through mixed forest, proceed on a forest path to a fork. At the fork to Bäckeralm, keep right and hike on the narrow, shady forest trail to Stoißeralm (No. 27). Recommended as a family hike, but some fitness is required. This path leads through significant wildlife areas! Rare and disturbance-sensitive animals inhabit this area. For this reason, the path is designated exclusively as a "summer hiking trail." From December until the end of March, we kindly ask you to leave the area undisturbed for winter rest to protect the species. Please respect nature! Special features: Good footwear is required for this trail. The path leads you through near-natural mixed wood stands of the local mountain forest. Food and drink: Forsthaus Adlgaß, Bäckeralm served, and Stoißer Alm served. Tip: Hike up to the summit cross. Take a seat on the bench and enjoy your snack. Enjoy the view of Lake Chiemsee and the Salzburg region, the landscape and the surrounding mountain world: from east to west Staufen massif, Reiter Alps, Kienberg, and Rauschberg up to Zinnkopf.
