Steineralm

Route: Starting point hiking parking lot Adlgaß. Head north over the small bridge, straight along the wide forest road (No. 14), following the ascent. At the junction, turn right following the signs to Steiner Alm. March through the mixed forest along the roaring Frillenseebach on a natural path. After a short time, the path transitions into the mountain forest adventure trail. Numerous attractive adventure stations await by the roadside. Turn right at the forest road and follow the path to Frillensee. From the shelter hut on the east shore, the path to Steiner Alm leads off to the left. Almost half of the route goes through a natural forest path. You hike slightly uphill over roots and stones. Turn left on the forest road following the signs towards Steiner Alm. You can return the same way or take the faster route via the forest road. Special features: More than half of the trail runs through shade-giving mixed forest and is therefore also suitable on hot sunny days. The path is also interesting for families; however, from Frillensee through the forest path, some sure-footedness is required. The forest offers a home to many animals. Keep your eyes and ears open. Refreshments: Gasthof Adlgaß at the starting point, Steiner Alm partially operated. Tip: Enjoy the magnificent view of Hochstaufen from Steiner Alm. Seasonally, you will find tasty forest berries and native mushrooms by the roadside.
