The path initially runs along a forest road, partly along a stream. Ideal for children who could even bathe in one of the cool pools here. Starting point is the parking lot at Alpe Scheidwang. To get there, a toll must be paid at the toll machine at Alpe Gerstenbrändle in Gunzesried Säge. Note that in spring and late autumn the road is not open if there is leftover or new snow.
From the parking lot it goes about 100 m steeply uphill on the paved road. At the first hairpin turn to the right, continue on a gravel road. Follow this until a narrow path branches off to the left.
