From the Zeiringealm along the marked path to the Ebneralm up to the so-called Übereck, from here continue along the Prügelweg to the Schröckenalm and briefly on the forest road to the right to the Humlechneralm. On the alpine meadow northwards to the edge of the forest and over a short steep step to the end of a forest road (up to here also from the Kölblalm via the Pfarralm on the forest road). Over the forest ridge heading north  on clear path traces upwards, from the tree line over meadows and dwarf pine areas on a good path into the  flat hollow of the Glaneggluke. Slightly keeping left continue over open terrain into the saddle between Stadelfeldschneid and Gsuchmauer. Both summits with magnificent views can be climbed without difficulty. Back on the saddle, cross to the right approximately 40 meters down into a hollow to reach the dwarf pine path marked with cairns of the Rosa-Gredler-Steig (some sense of direction required). Now always gently descending to the right, crossing below the Gsuchmauer, past the Rotofen into the cirque below the Sulzkarhund, from where you soon reach the marked path to Hesshütte. After the rewarding visit to the hut, return on the marked path back to Johnsbach.
