The route passes by the Yakoruda bath before arriving at Yakoruda.
This region lies near the transition between the Bulgarian-speaking Christian and Muslim communities of the western Rhodopes, an area shaped by centuries of Ottoman rule, mountain isolation, and seasonal pastoral life.
Before reaching the town, the trail passes the Yakoruda mineral baths, where thermal springs emerge at the foot of the surrounding mountains. The stage ends in Yakoruda beneath the forested slopes linking the Rila, Pirin, and Rhodope ranges.
