From Andrevlje toward Stari Ledinci, the trail climbs and moves along the spine of Fruška Gora, where rolling forested ridges open into sunlit clearings and long views toward the Danube basin. This is a landscape shaped by the mountain’s ancient past as an island in the Pannonian Sea, its slopes later cultivated by monks, vintners, and villagers whose presence still echoes in scattered orchards and old vineyard terraces. The walk carries a quiet historical depth: Fruška Gora’s forests once sheltered medieval monasteries and later served as a refuge during Ottoman and Habsburg conflicts, leaving the region with a layered cultural memory. As the route descends toward Stari Ledinci, the scenery softens into rural hillsides dotted with farmsteads and fruit trees, before the village appears tucked beneath the slopes, close to the dramatic turquoise basin of Ledinci Lake. This stage blends serene woodland, gentle hilltop panoramas, and centuries of human presence into a graceful transition from mountain heights to village life.
