Leaving Székesfehérvár, the trail crosses open farmland south of the town. At Tác lie the remains of the Roman settlement of Gorsium-Herculia. Its streets, public buildings, and stone foundations have been excavated and are open to visitors. The town stood beside the Roman road linking the Danube frontier with the province's interior. The stage ends at Tác, at the site of this former Roman centre.
