With its just under 5 km long network of paths, the spa park invites you to relaxing walks.
In 1824, the area was still used as a communal pasture and was only redesigned in 1936 as a recreational area for guests and locals. Today, the spa park is a certified terrain cura route. Terrain cura routes are selected and classified according to medical-therapeutic criteria (length, gradient, and slope). They must allow for differentiated physical resilience of the human organism.

Tips and suggestions
With the new Schwangau hiking pass for big and small hiking fans, you now have the opportunity to explore our unique natural landscape on your own. As proof of your achievement, you will find a small wooden box with a punch tool on the respective routes.
Simply punch the corresponding hiking route in your hiking pass and present it to the tourist information after completing enough hikes. There you will receive a hiking pin as a reward and the little hiking friends a hiking certificate.
The printed Schwangau hiking pass is available free of charge at the Schwangau Tourist Information, at the info point in Hohenschwangau, at the Tegelberg cable car valley station, and at the Ziegelwies forest experience center.

Roadbook
Depending on the starting point (e.g., Rathaus or Osterhalde), just follow the spa park signs. Already on the way there you will find some beautiful viewpoints. Information boards provide details on local trees, bushes, and birds. Stroll leisurely through the park, rest on one of the benches, and listen to the birdsong.
