Garda
.
From here, you walk through the centre of town, first Piazza Garibaldi and then Porto Vecchio, keeping the church of San Rocco on the left. We suggest you climb the church terrace to admire the view over Limone. You leave behind the country houses continuing on a paved road, Via Nova, surrounded by olive trees and beautiful bougainvillaea, which give the place a picture postcard look.
In this section, follow the signs for Sentiero del Sole - Ciclabile del Garda - 135.
A little further on, you will see the sign for the waterfalls at the spot where we need to leave Via Nova and turn left.
The walk continues across the Sè stream, past some hotels and restaurants and arrives near the Villa Romantica Hotel. We suggest you take a short break here and admire the panoramic view that embraces most of the upper lake with Monte Baldo in the foreground and its ridges that descend to Punta San Vigilio. Don't forget your camera!
A few metres ahead, you will find the sign for the waterfall. Follow it, taking a little path on the left that goes uphill to the Gardesana road. Cross the road carefully and take the trail again (signs) , which is now a long series of steps with a green railing on the left that goes up the stream (waterfall sign in Italian and English) until you reach the foot of the Sopino waterfall.
