Behind the large playground, we follow the Wilde Gutach. At the tennis court, we meet little Simon, who will accompany us. After reaching the Ochsenbrücke, the route leads right into the forest uphill.
At the Black Forest cake, take the narrow path that leads back out of the forest to the right above. Now head towards the chapel, which is reached via a meadow path.
Behind the chapel, briefly follow the forest path and turn left down the trail into the Ettersbach valley. Via Ettersbachstraße, you reach the Bärenbrücke and the Sägplatz.

B294 to the Gutach, Simonswald exit. Then turn right towards Simonswald. After about 5 km, the Sägplatz is located on the right side.
Coming from Furtwangen, Gütenbach:
L173 to Simonswald town center, the Sägplatz is located on the left side.
