Southern Burgenland and Bad TatzmannsdorfRoadbook
The starting point is Neustift bei Schlaining. From the town, the trail first follows paved roads out of the town limits to Grodnau. The trail winds through open farmland and wooded sections. From Grodnau, the route continues toward Bernstein. After passing through the village, it returns to quieter paths through the forest. The trail climbs once more and reaches its highest point at approximately 614 meters above sea level. The route then proceeds mostly downhill, with gentle inclines toward the end, toward Bernstein. In Bernstein, there are places to stop for refreshments, a rest area in the town center, and the Rock Museum, which is of particular interest to families. Here, visitors can see the rare noble serpentine up close and take a piece home as a souvenir.
