Ravensburg Tour Variant II

From the Kürnbach market square towards Lammstraße, past the Hessenkelter, turn left at the intersection into Burgstraße, then right into Bachstraße, passing the tithe barn of the Water Castle. Turn left onto Klosterstraße, past the winemakers' press of the Kürnbach Wine Cooperative. Straight past the mini-golf course and Schlosswiesensee towards the Fairy Tale Forest. Up the hill left of the Fairy Tale Forest, past the barbecue hut in the Steinmetz area. On the hilltop (if detouring to the viewing point - here left) turn right and immediately left along the forest edge. After a short ascent turn left, then right uphill on the forest path, at the intersection turn sharply right and walk the forest nature trail in the opposite direction. Right uphill, after about 100 m turn sharply left along the forest edge. Always straight - Kegelbahnweg - to the forest edge.

You are now in the district of the municipality of Zaberfeld, Ochsenburg district. Continue straight along the field path to the Ochsenburg-Sulzfeld state road, after about 300 m turn left onto an unpaved field path (HW 8). You reach the Ochsenburg-Mühlbach state road in the area of a right curve. Immediately after, turn left at a pumping station towards the forest. Follow the forest path towards Mühlbach. At the fork in the road, follow the left path. You reach Mühlbach directly on the outskirts. Continue straight at the vineyard hut, half-left to the forest edge (forest restaurant), then field path towards Sulzfeld. Then on the right at the forest edge is the Effeldrich hiking hut. At the Effeldrich hut turn left through the vineyards to the Pfettscher nursery (meeting point with variant I).

At the outskirts of the Sulzfeld municipality turn left over the Bach bridge to the Ochsenburg-Sulzfeld state road. Turn right and before the parking lot turn left into the field path in the Ried area. Continuing straight on the forest path you reach Kürnbach district again. Turn right, along the forest edge through the vineyards. Descend the village hill at the war memorial, pass the primary school in Schulstraße to Lindenstraße, turn left to Ziersdorfer Platz. Then turn right, along Bachstraße, then right again to the market square (starting point).
