From the Maria Wörth ship station, the route leads through the village past the famous pilgrimage church. Then, on gravel paths through the Gidlwald forest to the Pyramidenkogel at 851 m above sea level. A particularly recommended visit is the highest wooden observation tower worldwide with the highest dry slide in Europe. The same route returns along the Wörthersee circular hiking trail, heading towards St. Anna and back to the start.
