The Pfarrwald (formerly owned by 6 or 12 parishes, hence also called Six-/Twelve-Parish Forest) is the destination of the circular route. In the first section, it follows the Prälatenweg (long-distance hiking trail from Marktoberdorf to Kochel am See) and runs counter to the Jakobs Pilgrimage Route. The beautiful Baroque church St. Michael and the Königswirt located below it provide the perfect start and finish for this somewhat longer but very varied circular route.
