From the bus stop in Eberfing, the path leads south through the village. After crossing the Weidenbach, it leads out of the village towards Schellenberg. Shortly afterwards, walkers can enjoy a magnificent mountain view. The flat Schellenberg is crossed via wide forest paths. Around its highest point there is a wonderful view—to the west over Eberfing towards the Hoher Peißenberg and to the south towards the Alps.
