The name of the loop lives up to its promise: Great views of the castle park landscape are guaranteed here in good weather! The route connects the districts of Halblech, Trauchgau, Buching and runs partly along the small river Halblech, a tributary of the Lech. The highlight of the path is the St. Peter chapel. At this spot, you sit like in a panorama box with views of mountain peaks, lakes, and the royal castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. Many perceive the place as a power spot.
Provisions: Take enough water to drink. A snack tastes especially good on the way.
Weather check: Best to check various services and ask locals familiar with the mountains, as it can rain or thunderstorm quickly in the mountains.
Companionship: You should not undertake a longer route alone, even if it seems easy and harmless. Always leave your tour destination at your accommodation.

Roadbook
The path begins at the Kenzen parking lot. There you can see the emblem of the hiking trilogy in Halblech. The top cube contains a sound sculpture symbolizing the theme of the place, "Hear the sound of a royal landscape." Set out on a journey to discover the wonderful sounds of nature and the magnificent landscape. From the Kenzen parking lot, cross the iron bridge, then take the next but one turn to the right into Kapellenweg. Between colorful meadows, head towards Trauchgau. Pass the school, cross an intersection, and the path leads to the small river, the Ach. Turn left there and follow the Ach until you reach the Ach chapel. Turn left here, pass the maypole, cross the road, and enter the next street on the right (Töpferweg). The road bends to the left, but continue straight ahead into a flat moss area where you walk in a wide arc with an open view of the mountains. At the intersection, turn left into Poststraße, then the next turn to the right into Flurweg. Cross Lechbrucker Straße, continue to the right. Shortly after, turn into the forest path along Halblech. Turn right there, then left shortly after. Now the path leads over the Halblech bridge and then slightly uphill onto Roßweg. On the path through the meadows, you again have a fantastic view and soon see the St. Peter chapel in the distance. This special spot is a true showcase into the world of mountains, castles, and lakes. From there, continue via Pfarrer-Mayr-Weg past the Kalkhang springs back to Halblech and the Kenzen parking lot, your starting point.

Equipment
With good, well-broken-in hiking shoes, you can walk safely and blister-free. For clothing, use the layering system: a short and a long shirt (cotton dries poorly, so better wool or special sportswear), zipper pants, sweater, jacket, and rain cape. Changing clothes, headgear, sunglasses, sunscreen, first aid kit, and flashlight should also be in your backpack.
