Inside the cemetery is the Slovak coat of arms and a bell cast by artists from Liptovský Mikuláš, as well as a monumental six-meter wooden cross carved by a woodcarver from the village of Kriváň.Roadbook
From the main road, turn at the cross and continue along an easy hiking trail marked with a yellow sign. The tower was built only recently and offers hikers views of Chopok and the panorama of the Low Tatras, as well as the ski resort. Below the lookout tower there is a picnic table and benches. The hiking trail continues to the Symbolic Cemetery dedicated to the victims of the Low Tatras and further to the Demänovská Freedom Cave. In the chapel at the symbolic cemetery, there are plaques with the names of people who died in the Low Tatras. There is also the sculpture “Mountain Pietà,” symbolizing a mother’s grief over the loss of a child.
