Osser - Zwercheck - Circular route

From the summit, views to the Hohenbogen, the Arber, and especially to the Osser shelter, located 30 m below. Recommended stop there!

Then about 10 minutes back along the ascent path to two information boards, and then always following the countless white poles along the border to the southeast. Masses of well-bearing blueberry bushes prevent fast progress! The endpoint is marked by a roughly 3 m high stone amid windthrow, with 1,334 m the highest point of the hike. Shortly after, an information board at the site where the Juranek hut stood. Shortly after, the path bends right down; the highest point (1,343 m) is still about 1 km away, but a sign prohibits entering the nature reserve.

Now it goes quickly down next to a small stream to a forest road, on it slightly ascending to the right to another forest highway and back to the car at the Scheibe parking lot.

The rather leisurely walking times with photo and berry-picking breaks: bike ride down 15 min., ascent Lohberg - summit 1h20, transition to Zwercheck 3 hours, descent to parking lot 40 min. Pure total walking time (moving according to GPS) 4 hours. With all breaks and a cozy stop at the Osser shelter, it will certainly be 6 hours!
