Loop route crossing the municipal areas of Nordhouse and Hipsheim, shared between meadow and forest. It also runs alongside the Ill feeding canal.
Access can be done at any point of the loop but it is recommended to park your vehicle at the parking lot of the Salle des Fêtes de Nordhouse (D788) at the east exit of the town (Ploenlen district).
Head due north along the small pond then very quickly turn right along a hedge following the red ring marking. The circuit crosses a meadow and reaches the municipal boundary Nordhouse / Hipsheim. WARNING: carefully follow the markings as the route was slightly changed to avoid crossing the agricultural field on your right.
At the level of the large agricultural road, west-east axis, turn right due east before entering the forest where you begin to follow the Ill feeding canal which joins the Rhine. You pass in front of a small bridge that you do not cross, continue straight for 1.5 km until you reach a high voltage power line. Turn right after 100 m at the sign indicating F.C. Nordhouse.
WARNING: the markings were changed in 2022 to avoid the RD 788 but the IGN map is not yet updated. Continue the loop through forest then meadow to reach the small industrial area of Nordhouse and the starting parking lot.
