Discover this summit at almost 3,000 meters with a breathtaking panorama over the entire Pays du St-Bernard and the Aosta Valley!
The Pointe de Drône is located between the Grand-Saint-Bernard Valley and the Val Ferret. It is indeed accessible from both sides. Here we favor the quickest access.
Author’s recommendation
The old Chenalette chairlift was inaugurated on July 6, 1954. It reached nearly 2800 meters altitude (reputed at the time to be the highest in the world).
From 1954 to 1986, many guests and tourists reached the Chenalette in less than eight minutes. A magnificent view of Mont Blanc and the surrounding mountains was offered to their eyes.
