Münchweiler a.d. Alsenz, circular route no. 5

Shortly after the start of the circular hike at the train stop / community center Münchweiler a.d. Alsenz, follow the marking of the Palatinate Forest Association "Blue Dot" from the local fountain until shortly before the Bischoff brewery in Winnweiler. From the "Igelborner Hut" of the PWV Winnweiler onwards, alongside the "Blue Dot," the marking "white-blue stripe" also accompanies the hikers. From the brewery, only this white-blue marking is followed up to the railway barrier in Münchweiler, only a few meters remain to the end and starting point at the local fountain.

From the starting point to the dog park Lohnsfeld, the hikers are also accompanied by the marking "green-yellow stripe"; from there, it goes down to the right to Lohnsfeld, at the Catholic church the main road is crossed at the traffic light, and the Höringer Straße is followed by the blue dot. It continues past the grounds of the Winnweiler air sports club and the forest area after crossing the L 390 past the Igelborner Hut, through Winnweiler up to shortly before the local train station, the railway tracks are crossed over the bridge.

The white-blue stripe leads past the Alsenbrücker Mill to the L 392, where opposite the entrance to the Wäschbacherhof, turn right towards the Langmeil town center. The railway line is crossed again in town, at the roundabout turn left towards Münchweiler. After a few meters on the country road, it goes left towards Langmeil station and then via the railway path to Münchweiler.
