The diversity of Sylt's nature can be best observed at the Morsum Cliff. On this route, you can discover blooming heath, the Wadden Sea, reeds, megalithic tombs, dunes, and the geological highlight, the red and white shimmering cliff. But not only geologists enjoy the various earth layers; bird lovers also benefit in this nature reserve. Information boards along the way explain the fauna, flora, and unique geology.

Roadbook
We start at the Nösse parking lot at the Morsum Cliff and initially head east before turning left past the country house onto the wooden path towards the cliff. Once there, we briefly turn left to the viewing platform before going right onto the hiking trail above the cliff. To get down to the water, we make a detour over the heathland, as direct access to the cliff is strictly prohibited. Once down at the water, we walk west again between the mudflats and the cliff until we turn left over the sand dune back to the parking lot.
