We hike through Neudeser Gasse, following circular route 8, up to the Galgenberg. From the benches, we have a beautiful view into the Egertal as well as towards Kornberg, Epprechtstein, and Waldstein. Near the water reservoir, on clear days, we can see as far as Bohemia. In the clearing, we keep straight on at a free-standing weather pine and continue hiking into the high forest. At the junction near the Röslauer bridge, turn right. This way, we reach the edge of the forest and enjoy the open view into the Egertal near Neudorf. From the Neudorfer mill, the path leads us on the right through the romantic, narrow Egertal. To the right of the path lies the "Hirschsprungfelsen" rock. Now we follow the road (also the Egerweg E) over the Neumühle and the Eckenmühle back to the starting point at the marketplace.
