Leuther Mühlen-Pfad - Easy.Hike.World.
A longer circular hiking trail that leads past forests, lakes, horse pastures, arable land, resting places at pathsides, crossroads, and viewpoints at individual lakes.
It is an old, culturally and historically grown landscape that has arisen through human use. The lakes developed from peat cutting from the 16th century onwards. The marked hiking trail partly runs over former developed clay extraction paths along damp alder swamp forests and flower-rich meadows and pastures. In the extensively used meadows and pastures of the bird protection and nature reserve area, reed strips accompany ditches and the banks of the protected bodies of water.
