If you arrive by bus, the tour starts at the bus stop in the Höfen area (district of Reutte). From there it goes approx. 1 km on an asphalt road up to the valley station of the Reuttener Bergbahnen. Afterwards the ascent with the Reuttener cable car to the top station. Starting from the top station, a visit to the Alpine Flower Garden (no longer supervised) and the Alpine Barefoot Trail, as well as the take-off point for paragliders and hang-gliders is recommended. On the Alpenrosenweg we continue to the Lechaschauer Alm (overnight accommodation), followed by a short ascent to the Tiefjoch. The descent is via the Schneetalalm (overnight accommodation) to the village of Nesselwängle (bus stop).
