Large panoramic loop around Elterlein

From the hiker's parking lot at Ausspanne, follow the signs (white-green-white) to Schatzenstein. From there, go left (white-yellow-white) towards Prinz-Friedrich-August-Höhe. After crossing Überlandstraße, you will reach the cabin on the left hand side at the viewpoint "Prinz-Friedrich-August-Höhe". Afterwards, hike back to Kalkweg and at the intersection turn left (white-green-white). At the next but one turn, you reach the Jakobsweg Silberberg, which you follow to the right. Stay on the Jakobsweg until you reach the turnoff towards the Schwarzbach church. Turn left there. Passing the church, you join the Kirchsteig, then cross the main street and continue on "Am Schwarzbach" onto the mountain hiking trail "Eisenach-Budapest" (EB: white-red-white). Follow this marking over the small bridge. At the next turn, go straight ahead and leave the EB trail. At the cabin, turn left on (white-green-white). Hike along this path to Jägersruh, where you cross the street. Continue along the path until you reach the Jakobsweg again and turn right onto Schlettauer Straße. Then keep left towards the shelter "St. Ulrich". Turn left onto the Hermannsdorfer Ringweg (white-green-white). At Elterleiner Straße, turn left, then take the right turnoff (white-yellow-white) towards Großer Fuchsstein. Follow the path to "An der Kiesbahn" and stay left on the Schatzensteinweg (white-green-white). Continue hiking along the forest path back to the starting point.
